Privacy, in short.

Last updated: 2026-06-14

Looqio is operated by Looqio, operated as an individual in Israel. This page explains what data we collect when you visit the site, what we don't collect, and how to reach us about it.

What we collect

When you visit Looqio, our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request information: your IP address, browser user-agent string, the URL you requested, and the timestamp. This is the same information any website logs to operate and protect itself from abuse. These logs roll over after a short retention period.

For aggregate traffic insight and performance monitoring we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights). They count page views, traffic sources, and page-load performance in aggregate — they set no cookies, do not fingerprint you, and do not collect data that identifies you. We do not run advertising trackers. The only browser cookie we ourselves set is a signed session token, described below — and only after you choose to sign in.

What we don't collect

  • We don't store passwords. Sign-in is handled by Google or Facebook (OAuth); your credentials never touch our servers.
  • We don't process payments — so we never see your card or banking details.
  • We don't operate a marketing email list.
  • We don't collect home addresses, phone numbers, or any government IDs.

User accounts and saved items

When you sign in with Google or Facebook, those providers send us a minimal profile: your email address, your display name and picture (if you have one), and a stable provider-specific user ID. We store this so we can recognise you on your next visit. We never receive your password.

When you save (favourite) a product, we store a row linking your account to that product ID and the time you saved it. We use this only to render your saved list and, in the future, to suggest pieces based on your taste. We do not sell or share your saved list with any third party.

To sign out: use the menu under your avatar. To delete your account and saved list: write to hello.looqio@gmail.com. We'll cascade-delete both within a few business days. Self-service deletion is coming.

Cookies

When you sign in, we set a single functional cookie that holds a signed session token (a JWT) so you stay signed in between visits. It contains your user ID and an expiry; it is not used for tracking or advertising. Signing out clears it.

Separately, when you click a “Buy” link, you're redirected to the retailer's website. The retailer and its affiliate network (typically Awin, Rakuten, or Cuelinks) may set their own cookies to credit the visit to us. This is how we earn commission. Looqiodoes not place or read those cookies — they're entirely between you and the retailer.

You can refuse, delete, or block any cookie through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law, and under the EU/UK GDPR if you're a resident there, you have the right to know what we hold about you, to receive a copy, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. If you have an account, we hold your email, name, profile picture, and your saved-items list. If you don't, the practical answer is usually “we hold nothing about you specifically” — only short-lived server logs.

To make a privacy request, write to hello.looqio@gmail.com.

Children

Looqiois intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
